Microsoft Outlook gets installed into your computer system by either from the Outlook Disk or with the Microsoft Office Disk then it installs the Scanpst.exe file too into your computer system. According to the different operating system the location of the file changes but generally it is available at the location:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System
Over here you can find MSMAPI or MAPI folders and in one of them you can find the folder named 1033. It finally makes the complete path of the Scanpst.exe as:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MAPI\1033\
You can use the windows search option to find the scanpst.exe but if they are not found in the search results then it means they are hidden. You can change the folder options to set the hidden files visible and again search for scanpst.exe
If unfortunately you can not find the file from your system then there are chances that due to any mishap or problems like virus attack the exe has been deleted or lost. In this situation you don’t have any option get the file from your system. Over here you can try to extract the Scanpst.exe from the cabinet file from Microsoft Office CD.
